Unit Description

This unit forms the second semester of the Master of Engineering Management project. Engineering management approaches and tools will be used to solve problems that confront engineers. The tools were identified and the project framed in Semester 1 and they are applied in this unit. The ability to frame an engineering management approach to an engineering problem is essential to professional practice. From a learning perspective, one of the most effective ways of achieving this is to investigate an authentic engineering problem that is relevant to the profession.
