Lead emergency operations from the front line

This postgraduate degree in Emergency and Disaster Management with QUT Online examines the underlying drivers of risk from a healthcare perspective taking into account the risk factors during, and in the aftermath of, an emergency.

Emergency and disaster management is a vital field within the healthcare industry and has a profound impact on the lives of individuals and communities who find themselves at the front line of a hazardous event.

When an emergency arises, strong leadership, management skills and effective communication are vital. Competent leaders in emergency and disaster management will be able to coordinate efficient responses and be cognisant of the rapidly evolving circumstances.

You will gain practical skills in crisis communication, and planning and learn to act decisively in unstable and unpredictable situations.

Subsidised Commonwealth Supported Places are available for this course.
