Unit Description

Public health is one of the key concerns for a society, and a recurring issue for governments, legislators and health industry organisations and professionals.

Students will examine future national and international challenges within a social deterministic framework that emphasises pragmatic changes that can be made to institutions in order to improve public health.

Public health challenges specific to certain populations are also a core focus of the unit.
