Unit Description

The ability to undertake rigorous, effective and critically-informed analyses of public policy proposals is an essential attribute of policy professionals.

This unit provides you the opportunity to synthesise your public policy development skills and critical reasoning ability with your knowledge of government institutions.

You will learn strategies for navigating stakeholder relationships, which is an essential skill when designing and overseeing the successful implementation of public policy – particularly for justice-related policies that seek to address marginalisation and social injustice, thereby improving social inclusion.
