Unit Description

Technological innovation in the digital domain is transforming how we understand knowledge, learning and communication. This technological revolution is having a tremendous effect on education, particularly as we see teachers increasingly adopt sophisticated technologies in the classroom.

Education must be understood as an evolving environment of change, challenge and opportunity.

In this unit you will investigate a range of key themes underpinning digital learning, thereby extending your capacity to participate critically, creatively and ethically within the emerging digital cultures.

Through an exploration of the digital self you will reflect upon the intentional and unintentional traces and identities created through widespread participation in online contexts.
