Unit Description

This unit highlights inclusive disaster response and recovery in a variety of contexts. It is imperative in the wake of a disaster or emergency situation that affected individuals and communities have access to needed relief within an enabling environment that allows them to recover and build sustainable resilience to the physical, social, environmental and economic impacts of future emergency and disaster events. Upon completion of this unit you will have a greater understanding of how to implement an inclusive disaster response and develop funding proposals.
