Unit Description

Career development is a broad and constantly evolving field relevant to all individuals. Recent developments in education highlight the importance for educators and career practitioners within education fields to better prepare people for the rapidly changing world of work. This unit provides an opportunity to examine career development theory, practice, policy and research, and apply this to career counselling practice. With a focus on lifelong learning and professional development, become a counsellor with the background knowledge and expertise to guide students and clients through the process of proactively developing and redefining their career.
