Our courses are centred around developing an understanding of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and providing future project managers with the fundamentals needed to achieve organisational excellence. As a QUT graduate, you will be positioned to succeed in a real workplace context, harnessing your theoretical and practical knowledge, as well as your initiative and skills to see projects through to their successful completion. You will graduate with a firm theoretical and practical knowledge base to draw from and will be ready to deal with a diversity of project management challenges.

Entry requirements
You can gain entry into the Graduate Certificate in Project Management with:
6-month program
- A recognised Bachelor degree (or higher qualification) in any discipline
or
- A recognised Diploma (or higher qualification) in any discipline, with at least two years full-time (or equivalent) relevant professional work experience
or
- At least five years full-time (or equivalent) relevant professional work experience.
Fast-track pathways
If you hold a Graduate Certificate in Project Management or possess equivalent work experience, you may be eligible to enrol in the Master’s program with recognition of prior learning (RPL), enabling you to complete the degree in 1 year instead of 1.5 years.
Course outcomes
Upon completion of the Graduate Certificate in Project Management, graduates will possess a general overview of project management best practices, as well as practical skills they can apply in their current and future roles across a range of industries.
