Master of Justice
The new Master of Justice consists of 144 credit points (12 units) and can be completed in 1.5 years full time or 3 years part time study. The course allows students to upskill to Master’s level study majoring in one of the following areas:
- Domestic Violence Responses
- Prevention and Responses to Sexual Violence
- Policy and Governance
- Investigations and Intelligence
Graduates in the Master of Justice will gain advanced knowledge in:
- Designing approaches for working with a plurality of diverse stakeholders and communities
- Evaluating complex and sensitive social justice problems and recommend evidence-based responses
- Applying a range of communication modes to professionally and strategically convey critical information to diverse stakeholders
- Investigating and critiquing how ethics, intersectionality and contextual factors impact on and shape social justice issues
- Evaluating research, data and evidence related to justice practices and contexts
You will also have the exciting opportunity to undertake an independent research project.
