From enrolment to graduation, we’re here to support your journey with a full range of online support services — including enrolment help, technical assistance, academic guidance, and peer support — so you’re never alone in your studies.

Online Learning Advisors

An Online Learning Advisor guides students through their online courses and provides support with course selection and study strategies. They help enhance the overall learning experience.

Student Advisors

The Student Support Team assists students with academic, technical, and personal challenges. They provide resources and guidance to help ensure student success.

Study buddies program

The Study Buddies Program, open to new and early-stage students, is designed to enhance your learning experience through meaningful peer connections. The program groups students studying the same units and runs for the duration of teaching period. Research shows that group study fosters a supportive academic environment, helping you develop effective study habits and achieve long-term academic success.

Orientation Week (O-week)

O-week is the perfect event to make new connections and learn what to expect in your first teaching period. Just like your studies, O-week is run online and is flexible, meaning you can jump in when it works for you. Take the opportunity to adjust to your course, network with your peers and win some prizes!

Disability services

We provide free, confidential support services and advice to students living with a disability, injury or health condition.

No matter if your condition is permanent or temporary, QUT Disability Advisors will work directly with you to provide support that is best suited to your circumstances.

Examples of reasonable adjustments include:

  • altered assessment and exam arrangements
  • using assistive technology
  • alternative formatting of course materials.
